>I recently read an article that suggested going through your old pictures and evaluating them to see where you can improve. I’ve only been seriously taking pictures since July, so I didn’t have much to go through, but it was fun going through my pictures and seeing what I’ve done in the past 5 months. So here they are, without further ado, my favorite pictures from 2008!
This was the first “serious” picture I took. It was in August, about 3 weeks after I got my new camera and the first time I actually had a specific vision about a picture I wanted to take. My friend Amber wanted a nice picture of her and her husband Brandon and I needed some models.
This next picture was taken at my Mother-in-Law’s farm in September.
These next few pictures are of my cutie pie niece, Ellie. These were taken at the beginning of October. I may be a little biased, but isn’t she just so sweet??
For this one, which was taken in October, my husband, myself, and some friends went to play disc golf. I didn’t feel like playing so I was just messing around with my camera and actually ended up with something I liked!
This one is from Matthiessen State Park and was taken in October.
Another one from October. I took pictures of the band my husband is in, Keslinger. This is a picture of the guitarist, Jon.
This next set of pictures are probably my all time favorite for the year. My friend, Kimo, asked me back in August shortly after I got my camera if I would mind taking pictures for her when she was all big and prego. It was such a great opportunity for me to learn! These pictures were taken at the beginning of November with their adorable (and very photogenic!) dog, Milo.
This one is my absolute favorite!!
My husbands bandmate, Ben, asked if I would take some pictures of him for a competition he was in earlier this month. This was taken in December and was one of my favorites.
At the beginning of December, Seth and I decided to take a trip over New Year’s since I had time off from work. I’ve always loved Arizona and he had never been there, so we decided to make the long trek out west. From Illinois it was about 23 hours one way. It may have been a long drive, but for me it was so worth it! I had a really hard time narrowing down my favorites!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my review of 2008! I’m so excited to see what new opportunities 2009 will bring!
