I had a really hard time while trying to write this post. It’s not that I don’t have anything to say about Chrissy O., because believe me, I could fill a book. I just couldn’t decide where to begin. Should I start by talking about how we met and bonded while wrangling children at a daycare? Or maybe about how we’re part of an exclusive group, the Fab 5, that makes it a priority to meet once a month? I could talk about what an amazingly sweet and caring person she is, but anyone who knows her already knows that. Do I mention how awesome she is for sharing my name? I just don’t know. What I do know, is that her and her brother, Mike, can certainly rock a camera. Chrissy contacted me because she wanted some pictures taken to give to her mom for her birthday. Her mom had been begging her and Mike for years to have pictures taken, but someone *cough*Mike*cough*, didn’t want to. I was honored that he finally agreed to have me take his picture! 🙂
We went to Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, a place I had been dying to shoot at because it’s so stinkin’ beautiful. It’s this little nursery tucked away in a neighborhood. If you didn’t know where to look, you could miss it completely. We got some really great stuff there, and I’d totally go back in a heartbeat (hint hint ;]).
This is what I got when I asked them to show me sassy. I think they pulled it off rather well, don’t you?
Aren’t they just adorable???
We also grabbed some sweet individual shots for mom.
Thanks so much, Chrissy and Mike! I had a ton of fun! 🙂
