Kristi & Philip : Mount Morris, IL Wedding

Kristi and Philip were married one month ago today on a muggy afternoon in Mount Morris, IL.  They gathered with the support of their friends and family to proclaim their love to each other and vow to uphold that love forever.  Kristi and Philip were so awesome to work with!  They were super laid back, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of their day, which was beautiful. πŸ™‚

This handkerchief was very important to Kristi–it was given to her when she was a baby in the form of a bonnet, then was meant to be used on her wedding day!

I love ivy, and it looked so beautiful her her bouquet.

Seth captured this beautiful shot of Kristi walking out to meet Philip…it’s one of my favorites from the day.

Kristi and Philip chose to see each other before the wedding.  I just love being a fly on the wall during these intimate moments.  It’s one of the things I love most about shooting weddings. πŸ™‚

Isn’t she just so cute???

The ceremony was held at Mount Morris Church of the Brethren

The reception was at this beautiful place on the Rock River in Oregon, IL, called Maxson Riverboat and Restaurant.  I couldn’t resist grabbing a few pictures out on the back deck before heading in to the reception!

Fun Fact:  Kristi and her sister MADE the bridesmaid’s and jr. bridesmaid’s dresses!!!

A very sweet speech by Kristi’s sister, Jenny.

Lots of fun moments at the reception!
Kristi and Philip, thank you SO MUCH for allowing Seth and I to be a part of your beautiful wedding day!

I love the one outside where Kristi is smiling and you wrote a comment isn't she cute….that picture made me cry….numerous times seeing the pure joy in her face. Good job Chrissy and Seth!

  2. I really love that old-fashioned style wedding ring. May many blessings shine upon the couple!
