Jesse & Basia | Married May 24, 2014 | Rockford, IL

Hair: Kimberly Venezia from Venezia’s Shear Magic
Makeup: Veronica from Veronica’s Head to Toe (From the bride: Her airbrush makeup method lasted ALL NIGHT!)
Florist: Balloons and Flowers by Haley (From the bride: She was very reasonable, helpful, and also arranged the centerpieces.)
Dress: David’s Bridal
Bridesmaid’s Dresses: Matron of honor’s dress was from David’s Bridal. The other bridesmaids ordered from this Etsy shop. They were the infinity convertible dresses in charcoal grey.
Tuxes: Seno Formal Wear
Ceremony site: Midway Village
Reception Venue: Midway Village
Caterer: ABC catering. They also serviced a full bar to the venue.
Cake: Cake and cupcakes were made by a family friend Liliana Herbold. (From the bride: She was amazing and her creations were both beautiful and delicious! Here is her email
DJ/band: Stephen from Divine Weddings and DJ service.
Officiant: Stephen from Divine Weddings and DJ service.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Basia: My favorite memory is the little one on one time Jesse and I had to ourselves during photos. We were so busy during the reception we hardly had time to talk.
Jesse: The first dance because we shared it with our daughter Addison.

If you could, is there anything you would have done differently?
Basia: I would hire a wedding coordinator to make sure things were running smoothly the day of the wedding. It was a little stressful having to do it with my matron of honor the morning of.
Jesse: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Best piece of advice for brides and grooms?
Basia: Don’t stress the little things, enjoy your time and limit your alcohol intake because it all goes too fast and you want to remember as much as you can! Also make sure you hire a great photographer (*hint hint* Chrissy) because the photos will be the best memories from your day.
Jesse: Take time to stop and take it all in because it goes too quick.

Where did/will you go on your honeymoon?
We went on a mini honeymoon to Door County on our motorcycle the day after the wedding. For our real honeymoon we are going on a cruise in November.

Anything else you’d like to say about your wedding day?
Open bar really was worth the money and everyone had a great time! I don’t think that the dance floor was ever empty that was also thanks to the DJ who played great songs.
